I guess it doesn't matter, but it does to Me!
The magic of a car is not the price. This is why I say it drives me a little crazy that people don’t own wrenches and buy these fancy Porsches high-end BMWs whatever. Things in life that make the difference are never about the cost are those beautiful million-dollar Porsches interesting sure but are they interesting because they’re $1 million or is there an amazing amount of character inside and out of the car? The outside of those new modern Porsches are fairly devoid of character they’re getting more and more bubble and less interesting design are they faster sure but they’re just more expensive. They don’t have the soul that the older ones had and almost everyone would agree. You see more and more young people who just want to show that they have a lot of money standing in front of them in fancy clothes and never drive the car at all or barely use the vehicle for what it’s supposed to be meant for. Unless what you believe it’s meant for is to show off how much money you have.
So it disappoints me. But, I understand everybody appreciates things for different reasons and that’s fine and I don’t begrudge them their right to enjoyment, but it doesn’t sit well with me that all you’re doing is showing off how much something costs. You don’t understand the actual mechanical marvel behind one of these vehicles, or just the appreciation that you developed between you and the machine and the art and design of it while driving alone on a summer or winter for that matter day, on the right road in the right place for its soul. Ya, a little hippy for me, but, I feel this way.
